TrackTheLinks Web Browser is a news reading program that checks web pages to find the most recent news and articles.

It is a home version of ScoopTheWeb and it works in a very similar manner, with the difference that this version has some limitations, one of them being that it does not include an article editor. TrackTheLinks will be a very useful tool for those that need to stay up-to-date with the latest information and news.

To get started, you need to add bookmarks, they are websites that you want the program to check. News articles and headlines will show up in the center of the screen on a navigation list that lets you filter content according to different time intervals, with the possibility of setting the period manually. By means of this navigation list, you can go directly to the article you want to read, without needing to open the home page. People who need to check numerous websites will appreciate the amount of time this feature can save. If you click any of the headlines, the application will open the corresponding website with its built-in browser; no need to open an external application to browse the web.

With TrackTheLinks, it is possible to set different types of alerts to monitor your favorite websites. The application can monitor up to 15 websites at an interval of 15 minutes. Alerts are actually stored in the program so you will never miss a story of your interest, in case it is removed from its website. You can even set pop-up notifications to monitor updates from busy websites right away, while less active websites can be added to the Newswire group.
